Lake Casitas Fishing Guide Report 07/17/2016 – I know readers may get tired of hearing it but it's just the way it is. The fishing remains fantastic at Lake Casitas in Ventura California. Here it is the middle of summer… the dog days of summer and fishing is just outstanding. You can catch bass on topwater lures, buzzbaits, crankbaits and plastic worms you name it. Lake Casitas is super famous for getting ultra tough during the middle of the summer months and it just hasn't happened. The water level remains relatively stable and large grass beds are growing throughout the lake. I'm actually not even being too demanding with my guide clients asking them "what is it that you would like to do" because almost every technique has a certain degree of of effectiveness. Our fishing guide business has been ultra busy and I am doing my best to keep up. Anglers should know that they can also call me to book fishing trips on Castaic Lake and Pyramid Lake as I have 3 full-time fishing guides that work those reservoirs for me. We're working seven days a week to keep up with the heavy demand from our summertime clients. Anglers interested in booking a fishing trip call or text me at 818-439-1154 for more information.
