The fishing remained fair this week but for the most part all of us here at Lake Casitas are poised for some fantastic fishing in the month of March. Lake Casitas always has bass spawning early in the season due to being only 500 feet above sea level this low elevation allows the lake to warm up quickly and we should start to see bass bedding in shallow water in the next two weeks. The fish remain in that 20 to 40 foot level for the most part and a purple Robo Worm has been best. We did get quite a bit of rain and the lake is rising as we speak we should know the totals in about a week or so as the water is still flowing into the lake www.richtauberfishing.com.
