Well it's without question our best bass fishing of the 2014 season at Lake Casitas in Ventura California. We have had just absolutely fantastic catches on all of our fishing trips. Everyone is catching fish and they're catching them on a wide variety of baits. We have been using a drop shot plastic worm fished very slowly on most all of our guide trips. It's very very basic fishing. Pull up and throw your bait out and fish it very slowly on the bottom. The bass are spawning in anywhere from 3 to 12 feet of water. You can also take a wacky rigged Senko and catch bass with that. Once again throw the Senko out and don't move it at all. The vast majority of fish simply pull it right off the bottom. There are a lot of Redear spawning at the current time. For those anglers like to catch these great sunfish you can take a drop shot rig with a half of a nightcrawler on it and fish that in 2-12 feet of water and catch lots of beautiful big Redear. It's just super good fishing right now at Lake Casitas. It's just a short one hour drive from Los Angeles and this is an excellent time to bring your friends and family fishing. We have 2 bass boats that are ready to fish every single day of the week. We also have a 2014 pontoon fishing boat that carries up to eight people that is wonderful for group outings. We have half day fishing trips and full day fishing trips available. Half day fishing trips are four hours and an full day guided fishing trips are eight hours. No deposit is needed. You can call or text me at 818-439-1154. We are open seven days a week and this is absolutely a great time to go fishing here in Southern California. There is bottled water ice and package snacks on board all of our trips at no extra charge. All of your fishing rods reels and tackle are rigged and ready for you each day when you arrive. Just bring yourself, a baseball hat and sunglasses and a warm jacket and you're all set to go fishing. Look forward to hearing from you soon and going fishing together on Lake Casitas.
