Spring bass fishing is in full swing at Lake Casitas in Ventura California. With a glowing full moon this week and water temperatures touching 64 to 65° in the afternoon the fish moving into shallow water all throughout Lake Casitas. Our trips this week produced lots of fish and they were caught in a variety of ways. A drop shot plastic worm, Senko and sight fishing where the most productive techniques this week. Lots of fish breezing and preparing to spawn in shallow water and without question this is absolutely the place to be fishing for largemouth bass in Southern California right now. Anglers interested in visiting Lake Casitas and getting involved with the spring bass fishing action can call or text me at 818-439-1154 or go to RichTauberFishing.com. We are fishing Lake Casitas seven days a week and as most all of us know in the Southland this is a classic fishing spot as the next 30 days should produce some of the best fishing the season for us.
Below is Ben visiting from Canada and this is just one of several bass in the 2 pound class that he caught on his fishing guide trip with Rich Tauber. Lots of bass in less than 10 to 12 feet of water and excellent fishing right now Lake Casitas.
