The solid fishing continues at Lake Casitas as we are still seeing fish breaking in open water it’s pretty much being at the right place at the right time. You can catch these fish on any type of swimbait in the 2 to 3 inch range that mimics a shad. For those that like to fish a plastic worm a Texas rig plastic worm is best a purple Robo Worm seems to be the most productive. The fish are anywhere from 8 to 50 feet in depth I’ve mostly been concentrating in that shallow water around 8 to 20 feet deep.
