Southern California Fishing Guide Report 11/04/2015 – Pyramid Lake – Well we have seen a definite change in the weather and fall is setting in but the fishing continues very steady for our fishing guide clients at Pyramid Lake. Cool mornings and afternoons in the mid-70s have been the rule this week. The fish are definitely in transition and were beginning to catch quite a few stripers in deeper water utilizing a trolled umbrella rig, jigging spoon and a Zara Spook for most of our success. We are starting our fishing days at 7:15 AM each day. Most of the striped bass are ranging from 2 to 7 pounds. We received our first trout plant here at Pyramid Lake 10 days ago so we're looking for another trout plant this week. This should motivate the big striped bass to move in and start to feed on these freshly planted trout. So now we have a great opportunity to catch some of the larger 10 to 15 pound striped bass that are so famous at Pyramid Lake. Fall and winter are just classic times to catch these fantastic fish and as all of you know there are tremendous table fair. As always we will have all of your rods reels and tackle ready when you arrive and there's always bottled water package snacks and ice on board every fishing trip. Anglers can book their fishing trip right now by going to the top of the page and clicking on the "book online" link. As always if you want more information about the current fishing conditions please call or text me on my personal cell phone at 818-439-1154. Thank you and look forward to seeing you all soon.
