Lake Casitas Bass Fishing Guide Report 2/13/2016 –Temperatures touched almost 90° today and boy Lake Casitas in Ventura California is the place to be. We saw afternoon water temperatures at almost 64°. It’s not all that difficult, fish a drop shot plastic were in less than 20 feet of water. We have had absolutely perfect weather and greasy slick flat conditions most every morning. Fish slow and fish patiently and the results are excellent. 2/13/2016 and this is Mitch visiting from Kentucky. This is just a small part of his catch from early this morning. All of his fish were in 3 to 5 pound class and were caught on a drop shot plastic worm in less than 20 feet of water at Lake Casitas in Venture in California.
