Lake Casitas Bass Fishing Guide Report 2/06/2016 – Well we saw a definite upswing in the fishing at Lake Casitas today. With all of the warm weather and a full moon approaching in mid February the Lake Casitas bass have moved toward shallow water. Without question today was one of the better days we have seen in the last four months at Lake Casitas in Ventura California as anglers reported catching fish anywhere from 10 to 20 feet of water as the bass begin to move to shallow water for the pre-spawn period. We have openings every day of the week and anglers can call or text us at 818-439-1154. This beautiful band of weather is set for the next two weeks. This is a great opportunity for you to target some of the larger fish at Lake Casitas as we noticed that all at the bass that we saw today were definitely pre-spawn fish loaded with eggs and at their maximum weight.
