Lake Casitas Fishing Guide Report June 15, 2025

Well we had lots of overcast conditions throughout the week and then this morning finally the marine has passed…water temperature is 72 Not even a question live shad is the hot deal, fishing is not super easy and wide open like it’s been for months and months but if you have live shad it’s a complete beat down. We caught over 100 pounds of bass in four hours of fishing on several of our trips this week all caught and released on live shad. Anglers interested we can get them involved in that. If you’re not fishing live shad it’s topwater fishing in open water as the fish are breaking on shad and once the sun gets up it’s pretty much basic plastic worm fishing and typical June fishing. www.richtauberfishing.com.
