Lake Piru has offered up some very nice fishing throughout the summer season. And boy it's a wide variety of lures that are producing fish at the current time. Morning has produced some very nice top water fishing on chuggers, buzz baits, and a Super Spook. The afternoon you can just about take your pick with plastic worms, crank baits, and spinnerbaits all effective throughout the middle part of the day. Of course the lightest boat traffic is during the week. This is a wonderful time to go out on a guided bass fishing trip at Lake Piru in Southern California. It is amazing just how high the water is at Lake Piru this year even though there was very little rainfall this past winter. There is no question Lake Piru has been the Southern California secret Lake for the last 2 to 3 years. It makes a great location for bass fishing guide clients as it is a wonderful place to teach people how to fish with artificial lures. As always the trips leave at 7am in the morning. I also have a half day trip that leaves at 12 noon. There's no deposit needed to book a fishing trip. Just go to the top of the page and go to the contact "Contact Rich Tauber" link and send me a direct e-mail. Pick out the day you want to go fishing and you are set to go. Most all of my clients pay for the fishing trip at the end of the fishing day, once again no deposit is needed. My boat is in the water waiting for you at the beginning of each fishing day. All of your fishing rods reels and tackle are rigged and ready to go when you arrive. This is absolutely a wonderful time to book a guided bass fishing trip on one of Southern California's greatest fishing lakes, Lake Piru.
