Lake Cachuma report: Steve Morris has been very busy at Lake Cachuma the fishing is only fair for the most part. We are catching just a few trout and a few crappie most of those trolling very slowly with the trolling motor. Most of the trout are steady in about 8 feet of water in trolling by the dam has been best. The bass fishing has its moments we had a client last week where the fishing was wide open in 15 feet of water for about an hour and then typical of winter the fish shut down we are having our moments Robo Worm has been best. The lake received quite a bit of rain and the creeks are running into the lake and the lake is rising as we speak.—
