The bass fishing at Lake Casitas in Ventura California remains pretty steady as we move towards the spawning season. We had some good fishing this week and anglers are catching the majority of their bass on a drop shot plastic worm in 10 to 30 feet of water. The basic mood at the lake is that any day now the fish could completely charge the bank and fishing will go from fair to absolutely fantastic almost overnight. Some exciting news is that "Rich Tauber Fishing" will have a booth once again at this years Fred Hall Long Beach fishing tackle show. The dates of the Fred Hall fishing tackle show in Long Beach our March 5-9. The show opens at 2 PM on weekdays and runs until 10 PM. On the weekends the show opens at 10 AM and runs until 9 PM on Saturday and 6 PM on Sunday. Boy they have all kinds of great fishing tackle at the show and of course we have the up-to-date information on bass fishing at Lake Casitas and we also have some super cool video in the booth of some red-hot bass fishing action from last year at Lake Casitas. Once again my booth will be in the same place in the 400 row of the main fishing hall. We have all kinds of exciting offers for fishermen who visit us at the Long Beach fishing tackle show and if you are going to the show make sure he you come visit us in our booth. Oh by the way I will be doing a seminar on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday which is titled "Secrets of how to catch more bass at Lake Casitas".
