Well as we have talked about I guess now for almost 2 years now the fishing just remains absolutely remarkable. Topwater fishing is just spectacular if you know the few areas that the fish are breaking you can literally fish them for the entire day they never ever go down from sun up till sundown. The same thing happened last year The fish were obviously just a little bit smaller last year but we had the same scenario last year we had fish breaking all the way through Thanksgiving and I am pretty sure this will continue again this year probably somewhere around Thanksgiving to Christmas the fish will finally drop down once temperatures get colder. A Basstrix soft plastic remains our weapon of choice. There is no need to get out super early we’ve been starting most of our trips at 7:30 in the morning and the fish just break in open water on threadfin shad the entire day.
