Everything pretty much remains the same at Lake Casitas water temperature is steady at 75° still good numbers of fish breaking in isolated places on the lake offering some excellent topwater fishing and of course our Basstrix swim bait has been key for us. We can feel the fall temperatures coming our way but this happened last year and the fish continued to break on the surface all the way through The Thanksgiving holiday water is at 91% of capacity and we’ve had some excellent trips also anglers netting live shad catching huge numbers of bass. I am off right now to go to the US open at Lake Mojave to be inducted into the WON Bass Hall of Fame so I’ll be taking the weekend off. Really looking forward to the event.
