Lake Casitas Ventura California we just wrapped up our day today and Steve Morris has been at it basically every day actually today he did two fishing trips starting at 7 AM and then again at 11 AM and the most productive pattern has been a drop shot shot colored plastic worm in that 35 foot area. They’re isolated little spots where there are large groups of fish setting underneath threadfin shad and we’re fishing that drop shot just underneath those fish. We had a large trout plant yesterday which would be Friday of 2,700 pounds that’s one of the largest trout plants we’ve had in several years.
