Well yesterday we got out first thing in the morning and there was snow on the mountains and water temperature was 58° there was no one on the lake very very cold in the morning but by about 10 AM it was beautiful we’re still catching decent numbers of fish we actually saw a couple of packs of bass chasing balls of shad on topwater which is incredible for this time of year. We focused most of our efforts in that 15 to 25 foot range with a plastic worm as everyone is aware of the lake is now completely full and going over the spillway it’s continuing to go over the spillway at a pretty good rate even this morning. This is only the second time that Lake Casitas has gone over the spillway since 1998 which is pretty impressive and a great sign for our future fishing www.richtauberfishing.com.—
