Lake Casitas Fishing Guide Report August 22, 2025

We had once again just magnificent topwater fishing Lake Casitas especially for those anglers that got out there first thing in the morning the first two hours in the morning is just crazy but as we have had all season they continue to break all day long. Once again a Basstrix swimbait has been carrying us for almost 2 months now. Without question the best bait on the lake. We really haven’t had time to fish for any bluegill or Crappie because the bass fishing is so wonderful.
