Lake Cachuma Fishing Guide Report October 4, 2025

This is pretty much the same story real steady bass fishing most of the bass continued to be concentrated on ledges in that 15 to 30 foot level what was surprising this week as we saw a lot of rainbow trout swimming around in real shallow water and in lots of places on the lake so we think these are a bunch of holdover trout that all of a sudden are popping up for the fall so we’ll keep you posted on that we have not finished For bluegill much and we have located huge schools of Crappie but they’re focused on little small shad and have been difficult to catch with different crappie jigs but we’ll watch that also www.richtauberfishing.com
