A plastic worm continues to dominate at Lake Cachuma our guide Steve Morris has been busy every day with clients and is catching a few fish in the mornings on topwater but his real bread and butter is fishing 20 to 25 feet deep with a variety of plastic worms he also has been using a Ned rig quite a bit once again spinning rod 8 pound test line we are catching a few trout on those soft plastics also Just sort of here and there but there are some trout moving around we haven’t really focused on them.—
