Here is Chuck Samel with me this morning Castaic Lake in Castaic California. It rained like a dog for the first two hours this morning. The best part it was the first time since the pandemic that they we were basically alone on the lake ? congratulations Chuck his first limit of largemouth bass!!!! and all on a drop shot plastic worm. Castaic Lake Bass Fishing Guide’s Report 05/17/2020 –
Just got off the water and had to post this absolute monster from today Castaic Lake. This is Edrick Pirveysian fishing with me today. This monster female weighed 6 1/2 pounds and was released alive to fight another day. I am sure that after this girl gets after a buffet of rainbow trout she will be a solid double digit fish by this winter had one of the very biggest heads I’ve ever seen on a largemouth bass in my 45 years of doing this. Just got off the water Castaic Lake Castaic California and this is Daniel as we caught and released big numbers of fish today in less than 15 feet of water. A variety of soft plastics did the trick! Just put the boat in the yard..this is Brian, Brad and Kyle with me today Castaic Lake. For the first time we actually had some really light boat traffic on the lake ? weather was absolutely beautiful with a light breeze and 75° daytime temperatures. Caught and release lots and lots of largemouth and smallmouth bass! Tomorrow morning we focus on Lake Cachuma Santa Barbara California. Here it is 7 PM and we’re just putting the boats on the trailer. Had to share our best picture of the day. Just put the boat on the trailer Castaic Lake in Castaic California and what a beautiful day it was today absolutely fantastic weather! This is Ashley with me this morning doing her best to hold up what she can 🙂 Way to go Ashley topped off by this beautiful 4 pound largemouth. RTF guide Steve Morris is still on the water as we speak Lake Cachuma Santa Barbara California so will get you some updates tomorrow with his catch. It’s late Sunday evening but want to thank all of my fishing guides for their hard work this weekend! This was my evening trip tonight Castaic Lake and it pretty much sums up what we try to do…get people involved in the sport of fishing and provide great fun for the family. Castaic Lake Bass Fishing Guide’s Report 04/29/2020 –
Just wrapping up our day this is Mike Miller with me today as he hoists his 14 pound sack Castaic Lake in Castaic California. All of these fish were caught in less than 5 feet of water. Water temperature touched 70° in some of the pockets today. We are fishing seven days a week and have seen the water temperature rise almost 10° in the last 10 days Castaic Lake. BTW my RTF guide Steve Morris that works Lake Cachuma reported catching over 60 bass today! Anglers interested in fishing Castaic Lake or Lake Cachuma the fishing is absolutely fantastic!
