Lake Casitas Fishing Guide Report 07-24-2016 We have had some very solid fishing but it definitely has changed due to the super warm weather. We were booked every day and fished througheven though it seemed like the longest streak of warm weather that we’ve had all year. We had one day about a month ago that touched 112°. But this was a 3-4 day band of temperatures ranging from 97°- 107°. The big change for us is a substantial number of fish setting solid at 25 feet on the outside edge of the grass lines. As a result of this, a drop shot plastic worm has been dominant. Here are a host of pictures of our clients with a majority of the catches focused on the drop shot plastic worm in that deepwater. Inconclusion, despite the warm weather we’ve been catching plenty of bass, so come and join us at Lake Casitas for a day of fishing.
Don’t forget, we supply all of the fishing gear and equipment so that all you have to worry about is relaxing and having fun.
